Industry Event: SSIA Electronics Industry Day

On 21 January 2025, our NUS Semiconductor Club (NUSSCC) members had the privilege of attending the SSIA Electronics Industry Day, organized by the Singapore Semiconductor Industry Association (SSIA). This event brought together over 30 companies from various segments of the semiconductor industry, offering invaluable insights and networking opportunities. 

Not only did our members have the opportunity to meet and learn from professionals across various companies and backgrounds, but they also reconnected with industry representatives, including those from Micron and GlobalFoundries, from past events. We were especially proud to see our club member, V Dakshini, as one of the panelists in an insightful discussion. This event was an excellent platform for our members to connect with industry representatives and deepen their understanding of Singapore's vibrant semiconductor ecosystem. 

In addition to networking, our members visited the Career Fair booths to explore career opportunities, seek advice, and submit their resumes. Some members also attended the mentorship session, which offered a Q&A platform for gaining insights into the semiconductor industry. 

We are deeply grateful to SSIA for organizing this impactful event and to Ivah Sugiarti and Tay Swee Ling for extending the invitation to our club. The encouragement our members received from industry leaders has inspired us to continue contributing to Singapore’s semiconductor ecosystem.
