Industrial Visit to Micron Singapore!

On 25 September 2024, our members had the honour of co-organising an industrial visit with Micron to Fab 10A, one of Micron's newest and most advanced facilities in Singapore.

From visiting the cleanroom equipped with cutting edge technology to touring various amenities such as the gym and cafeteria during a site tour, participants gained a deeper understanding and appreciation for Micron’s work environment and facilities. 

Following the site tour were a tea break and an informal panellist discussion session. During the session, participants enthusiastically asked various questions to the panellists of Micron staff from various backgrounds such as engineers and student interns. From daily work responsibilities and overseas work opportunities, to career advancement paths and advice for students, participants gained valuable and insightful perspectives in a variety of topics discussed. 

The visit saw a remarkable 72 student participants which would not have been possible without the hard work of our members and partners. A big shout out to our Events (External) committee led by Claire Neo Yu Qing for coordinating the visit. We express our utmost gratitude to Glenda Yang and the team for hosting us with an engaging line-up of activities, which we are sure were informative and meaningful experiences for the participants.
